Muraba Talks: Paul Tange

The launch and inauguration of Muraba Talks was by a conversation with Japanese Architect Paul Tange in the 1982 Kenzo Tange designed King Faisal Foundation. The talk covered a wide range of topics ranging from the olympics, metabolism, nostalgia, as well as tradition and modernity. Muraba Talks is a public lecture series commissioned by the Architecture and Design Commission at the Ministry of Culture and Hosted by Nawaf Bin Ayyaf. It invites notable architecture practitioners and renowned architectural theorist/academics to engage the local community, stakeholders, students, researchers and anyone who is interested in an effort of bridging the gap between international best practices and the local discourse. Muraba Talks is an ambitious endeavor aimed to foster a healthy dialogue that elevates the local discourse on design and practice.
